I made this castle themed map thats very large and surrounded by water that stretches a very great distance. My problem is that I tried different static outside lighting to make it look more realistic. I cant seem to get the right lighting without making it look like crap. Here is the file if anyone has any ideas of what I need to do. download: http://files.filefront.com/gdrmszip/;54 ... einfo.html Screenshots: http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/2599/shot0001gg8.jpg http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/1637/shot0002dd2.jpg http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/3495/shot0003ei8.jpg

I remember I was able to make something like making the sun cast lights at certain angles, you just need to place the lights on the very top of the map, I'll give it a look and see if I can do something with this .

But wouldn't a Large static light eat crazy resources??? There were talks about having a way to set a general light angle to affect the whole map, but I guess it couldn't be done.
