I was waiting for that. But mostly, the speed enhancements. Lets try it. [quote="Janis Legzdinsh":2kdsqrrj] [*]Added "allowprotction" flag to terrain types. What that flag is for? I do not know how to disable framerate cap. btw, level is still unplayable, because of precision problems or something - big open areas are full of HOMs there.

And against nice work, Janis! Now Vavoom is a really fast-loading sourceport! I test that on map29 of doom2 - now it shows 42 fps, not 19, thats cool!

Good to see new versions coming out^^ Do you think you would be able to adopt the doomsday engines pk3 file structure? It is impossible for me to correctly pack the Doom Hi Res texture pack for vavoom. and because of that I have stopped releasing new packs. Regards KuriKai

@Kurikai: Hi-res textures should go inside 'hirestex' folder, inside them add two more folders 'walls' for wall textures and 'flats' for floor textures, they should have the same name they do in the IWAD files , hope this helps you out.

I wish to tell I noticed one thing, in 1.30 editing package progs do not include *.bat files, only cmake ones (for Linux users maybe?); I am just afraid that new users that use Windows could be confused and wouldn't know how to make progs.

Um, so, when 1.31 will be out? I have a feeling engine improved nicely since 1.30 was released, also lots of Strife-specific bugs were fixed.

What about adding autoaim option? Some people are asking about that already: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3239

There are some other things I would like to go into the next release, as Janis said, it's coming soon.
