Vavoom progress

I know what it's like to have life suddenly creep up on you and take all your free time, so please don't take this as a nag. I love Vavoom and am looking forward to the next version, and particularly to progress with the Strife support.

Is there anything that any of us could do that would be helpful, that would take some of the load off and be useful to your progress with Vavoom? For example, I have a DOS machine set up and I own the retail version of Strife. And while I'm not an expert at progs, I could certainly do my best with simple tasks.

I'll second that Catsy.
Any chance of a progress report Janis - my Strife man is stuck in the sewers and is getting pretty smelly as he's been down there a while now. Thanks for your time.

How's it going Janis?
I expect you've seen Kaiser's Svstrife.
[url:3h70e73p]http://forums.newdoom.com/showthread.php?p=383091#post383091
He has got the game working well, where all quest features seem to work. It doesn't look and feel as good as Vavoom but it's playable - Maybe you could get some help from him to finish off vavoom strife?

I was just thinking that yesterday. Okay, I was just /posting/ that yesterday. SvStrife has amazing faithfulness to the original, but as far as modern gameplay goes... well, it's lacking a lot of things like free mouselook that Kaiser has said he probably won't implement.

If the two of you could put your heads together... wow.

When I will get back to normal developmrnt (I hope very soon) it won't be a problem to implment stuff.
