Janis<br>I see now(from new doom forums) that you are starting on a new port svstrife. Does this mean that vavoom strife will not continue. It looks so good and is so close to being fully playable it would be  a shame to see vavoom strife take a backseat.

Oh, I know about this project. No, it's not my project, it some other guy. I have agreed to help him if he needs any help, for example with conversation system, but that's all I have to do with this project.

What do you think? Vavoom is by far the best port to play Strife on (the open gl look and feel is great)- but Zdoom is more complete. Is it easy enough to take the ideas from the zdoom port to polish off vavoom? <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

It won't be that hard. Right now I'm adding support for extended ACS scripts and with that I'll be able to implement many line specials with ACS script in the same way ZDoom does.
