I want to know if heretic is bug free. If not I want to know what bugs are still there. I cannot seem to find any bugs, maybe the music bug and the flashing bug(dunno if that was in hexen only). Another thing, is this one where I can join existing servers over the internet? I cannot seem to find any servers. Which one has more bugs? Doom or heretic? List all bugs for each so I know which one is progressing. It would be better if heretic progressed, as well as hexen. Other client server source ports don't support heretic and it is rare that i can find one. Jheretic doesn't work on my computer and I cannot play that the vanilla way.

I can't guarantee that it's bug free. If you find any bug, feel free to report it. Flashing problem is general problem of the engine.

Known Doom bugs: status bar face not changing when fire button is down for a long time, Doom 2 finale casting doesn't work. Known Heretic bugs: ... can't think of any. Known Hexen bugs: ... nothing comes into my mind. Known Strife bugs: there definately are some, but I can't tell you anything specific right now.

I don't know why do you ask about bugs? it's better to help finding them so Janis can work on them and make a better engine in general. I don't know why doom fans are so neglected to this doom engine and are always complaining about it instead of helping Janis to make a better work. It's just my personal opinion about it.
