Sky light

What about to make a thing, or maybe a new section in MAPINFO lump, that define 'enviromental' lighting of a level, simulating sun (or moon) - with angle of light fall and color.

That would be useful, but I think a bit of FPS killer too if not done right, it would be better to use dynamic light for it (I have done it myself with good results, heh!). But if it could be implemented somehow it would totally rock!! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->.

Actually I meant static "sun". As for dynamic one, I suppose it could be done by placing a number of "suns" with different angles, that should turn on/off simulating sun going across the skies. But that, I suppose, will require BIG vis data.
