I say contusion 'cause I tried to figure something out and it was too early in the morning for thinking.

Anyway, is scripting in Vavoom done with ACS or VavoomC? Or (ulp) both? If it's both, I think I'm going to end up in the hospital.

Now, tell me if I'm right or not:

VavoomC -> used for the "progs" to alter the way the .exe works, similar to .deh, .bex, and .ddf files.

ACS -> used for in-game scripting functions, such as spawning new creatures, causing doors to open when a certain creature is killed, et cetera, ad nauseum.

Now, to compile ACS scripts I need just the basic acc program, right?

Thanks yet again.

Gio

Yes, Vavoom does use them both and you undestood them right. Of course original acc can be used to compile ACS scripts - this is the standrd that must be supported. And since Vavoom doesn't have any ACS enchancements, there's no custom acc.
