You need to get the latest progs source code and replace vavoom_decorate_defs.xml, or find the following line on this file:
	<class name="Inventory">
And add the following over the flag name lines:
<flag name="AutoActivate" property="bAutoActivate" />
Let me know if this works for you <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->.

OK, on HealthPickup.vc just under these lines:
class HealthPickup : Inventory
	abstract;
Paste the following:
int AutoUseMode;
And inside of the defaultproperties section put the following:
AutoUseMode = 0;
This should fix the error.

If you get the latest progs source release: [url:a9lvm4uh]http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/vavoom/vavoom-prog-1.32.zip?download and replace both files mentioned in this thread, you problem should be fixed <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->, hope this helps you out.

Just to make sure, must I take progs from the separate download, or is it okay to take them from the game's directory and basev ?

You know, it would be very nice if Vavoom printed a message like "No progs found in /modname, falling back to progs from directory XYZ". Something that would allow me to diagnose the problem. My progs, fresh from 1.33 separate progs download, do

If you are using the "create debug.txt" option in the launcher, it should print such errors in debug.txt, you can look there, if you need help with what an error means, post it here and we can help you determine the problem.

[quote="b0rsuk":2ng12ri9]For instance, I have a directory called progs/ , within it "progs.pk3" Vavoom doesn't load pk3 files from subdirectories.
