Perhaps I'm just stupid?

G'day.
I was fortuneate enough to download Vavoom from fileplanet recently, version 1.11.2, and I must say that I am impressed. Having hated the original GLDoom that was made for the first Voodoo cards, I was astounded at the quality of this engine. Mouselook is a godsend, it changes the way you play the game.

Now, the bit that is bugging me is this: On your homepage, http://www.vavoom-engine.com/ you show screenshots of real 3D models inside of Doom (or Doom2 - I can't tell). I don't seem to be so fortunate with my version of Ultimate Doom.

Can you tell me what I need to do to get polygons into my game?

--Glassworks

Oh, and Strife support would be the best! ;)

at http://www.vavoom-engine.com there on the sidebar select download. In the list there is a d/l for the md2 files. D/l that unzip it (preserving folders) into your vavoom installation folder. Everything will be hunky dory.

Thanks.

See? I told you I was just stupid. I thought 'I have Vavoom, so I don't need any downloads.'

Well, at least I grabbed glvis and made the lot work faster, no more slowdowns for me!

--Glassworks
