Older Vavoom version?

(I guess my bug with version 1.21.1 is nothing original: craches when making the VIS. Same happens with both DOS and Windows binaries() But anyway, I was wondering if there any older Vavoom versions out there, like the stuff that was made in mid-2004. Those versions worked perfectly for me, and I want to sink my teeth straight into source coding ASAP. Or are they so inferior to the newest releases that I should wait until this bug is fixed? P.S.: Janis, why did you call it Vavoom?

Oh no, Lucas!! Simply get yourself normal working versions of glVis & glBsp and everythingl'll be fine!! glVis is here: http://vavoom-engine.com/glvis.php glBsp is here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/glbsp Usage: run from command line: glbsp.exe hexen.wad (or whatever wad you need) glvis.exe hexen.wad then hexen.gwa is created. Run Vavoom.

Why doesn't Janis include these files in the binary zip then?

There are these binaries in progs archive (utils/bin folder), but AFAIK glvis.exe is a bad one there. Or maybe I am wrong? Anyway I believe Janis is going to built-in these builders in Vavoom executable so they will work automatically on map load.

It's a problem with latest version of glBSP that creates nodes that glVIS doesn't like in some cases. I'll fix this ASAP.

It's called after a goa-trance track "Vavoom" by Man With No Name.
