Hello. I recently set up Vavoom to work on my laptop running Vista Ultimate. It was running great, but after a few runs, the music has stopped working. This is the case with all WADs, Doom or otherwise. I did nothing to the settings and have no idea what happened. Any help would be appreciated. also, i tried to search but the strings music and sound were not permitted. sorry if this has been asked before.

I have similar issue on laptop with Vista (I quit bying MS stuff ). After some time playing music begins to distort terribly, and slows down.

Windows Vista is known for it's changes to the sound system, and it's also very buggy, I would suggest you to download the MP3 music if you can, it's WAY better than old MIDI music .

OK, I got the MP3s, now what? Does Vavoom natively support them? If so, named what? Or do I have to modify the WAD file? Thanks for all the help.

Yes, vavoom supports them natively, you have to download the Vavoom packaged MP3's from here: [url:3ls0q3go]http://vavoom-engine.com/download.php, then just extract the zip file to where you have vavoom installed, it should work without anything else . Hope this helps you out.

Thank you for the link. I haven't had time to read it all yet, but the information looks very helpful.
