need help on unix

so i installed vavoom on my bsd box problem is -iwad doesnt work to tell vavoom where my wad is and -doom2 doesnt work either.. can someone dumb it down for me as to how to get vavoom to work on unix..for example where do i put the doom2.wad cause this is the error i keep getting > vavoom -doom2 Adding ./basev/common/basepak.pk3 Doing C_Shutdown Doing CL_Shutdown Doing SV_Shutdown Doing V_Shutdown Doing T_Shutdown Doing Sys_Shutdown Doing R_ShutdownTexture Doing R_ShutdownData Doing VCommand::Shutdown Doing VCvar::Shutdown Doing ShutdownMapInfo Doing FL_Shutdown Doing W_Shutdown Doing GLanguage.FreeData Doing VObject::StaticExit Doing VName::StaticExit Doing Z_Shutdown Main wad file not found.

You have multiple choices: a) Put IWAD in Vavoom's data directory, usually /usr/local/share/vavoom b) Put IWAD in ~/.vavoom c) Use -iwaddir option to specify directory where IWAD files are.
