I'm sure this has been brought up in the past, but I haven't been able to find a thread so far that had the answer, so....
What console command is needed to change the music selection currently playing? I play a few custom wads for Doom, and I'm getting sick of "Running From Evil" playing all the time.
In the old days, the cheat to do this would be "idmus (level)" and you got a different tune.
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

music play <lump_name>
music loop <lump_name>
This will either play once or repeat the song you specify.

Hey, what's the DOS equivalent of "idmus" in Heretic, Hexen, and Strife? Seems like an interesting "cheat" to fool around with. And I'm also assuming the "music play/loop" console command is the same with each game, right?

What about the "idmus" equivalent in DOS Heretic/Hexen/Strife?

IIRC, none of them had such a thing.

So only Doom has it then? O well - it would have been a useful function for ACS.
