Is there a way to make Vavoom to use MP3 music from outside the game?? I have thought to make a music directory like Doomsday does (inside the basev directory of the game), and make the engine to load the music from there, but I don't know if it actually works, Thanks!

I don't know for sure, but i'm guessing mp3 isn't supported because of the patents for MP3 which make it violate the GPL because of GPL sold (not like it's being sold right now, but the GNU GPL allows this) items must give royalties to Fraunhofer IIS, even if it's a simple decoder.
Ogg Vorbis is superior anyways, who needs mp3 <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

Yes, currently it doesn't support mp3 or Ogg Vorbis, but I'm laning to add support for Vorbis, probably also mp3, and also tracker modules (mod, xm, ...)

Well then I'll wait for the feature to be implemented, heh! <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

Sure, I'm going to have completely my own implementation with corresponding libraries (libogg, libvorbis, libmad, etc)
I prefer OpenAL.
