Dear Vavoom team,<br><br>I'm missing the "complete map" cheat - couldn't even find any related code in the sources...

Yes, there's no such cheat, similar console commands are 'map' and 'teleportnewmap'

So, will you ever add this cheat? There must already exist some code which does that e.g. when finding the "computer" item in DOOM which completes the map with yet unseen areas.

I know in Heretic there was "ravmap" to complete it, and in Doom there was "iddt".  Don't remember what it was for Hexen, but it should be pretty easy to add into Vavoom I think... <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) -->

In Hexen it is "mapsco", and in Strife supposedly "grp". May you call that command e.g. "fullmap" or "wholemap"? (Just a suggestion.)

You mean automap chet - well it exists. There's a console variable am_cheating, setting it to 1 will give you full map and setting it to 2 will give you full map and will display things that you potentially can see (sory, not all of them). But to use it you must set sv_cheats to 1 and restart level.

Then it will be easy to build an alias command - thank you very much!<br>

I'm sorry - a little mistake: This is not really the cheat I'm missing (but just another one): In case of DOOM and DOOM2, instead of "IDDT" I would be searching for "IDBEHOLDA". The difference is: "IDDT" sets the whole map to "known and seen" (every line is red); "IDBEHOLDA" instead sets only all walls to "known", but some are unseen and therefore grey, not red.<br><br>In DOOM, I can use "GIMME ALLMAP" (at least, this cheat is defined in progs/doom/server/cheats.vc); unfortunately, a similar cheat is defined for DOOM and Strife, but not for Heretic or Hexen!<br><br>For all games, in progs/(game)/server/inter.vc is a function P_TouchSpecialThing defined, and the thing of interest (computer map, super map) gives the player an item called IT_ALL_MAP.

Yes, Heretic and Hexen currently doesn't have a cheat which gives you automap powerup.
