how can i change the md2 models in vavoom<br>around to something else? okay like i want to <br>replace the trooper md2 model with a ww2 axis <br>soldier.  i  saved over the the trooper md2 model<br>and kept the trooper name went into my wad<br>nothing changed!

Vavoom reads the model files directly, so if the model was indeed properly replaced, the effects definately should've taken immediately.  If the model couldn't be loaded for one reason or another, the sprite is used instead.  So perhaps you didn't replace the right copy of the model or something.  :p

Yeah, you probably didn't replace the right file.

i replaced the right md2 trooper model<br>cause i open up the md2 model editor and<br>the right model and skin showed up and it had<br>the trooper name and all. the same method worked<br>fine in zdoomgl md2 model! is there some other method<br>i have to use to change the look of vavooms md2 <br>models? what method do you guys use?<br>

To be sure the right model that you need to replace is basev/doom/models/monsters/trooper/base.md2

okay thats it i dont have the md2 models<br>in the basev/doom/models/monsters/trooper/base.md2 <br>but the models are just place in the doom2 directory<br>shoot i have to go to school now i will work with this<br>when i get back home! i think this will do it.
