Linux Windowed Mouse

Hi, I'm playing Heretic on Linux. I like to use windowed mode so I can take breaks from gaming to do a little work. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to get the mouse and/or focus out of the heretic window so I can interact with other programs. I don't know if this is a linux thing, a vavoom thing or a heretic thing. Thanks! -Dylan

This should probably be considered a bug report. The focus can be made to leave the window (ex: in Gnome, alt+tab) but the mouse cursor is still held in place as long as vavoom is running. One solution might be to release the mouse any time the game is paused, in a menu, minimized, or not focused so that players can switch away from the game without having to save and exit.

Yeah, I tried something similar (wmctrl) and found the mouse glued to the center of the screen. Releasing the mouse on pause would be fantastic.
