Well I have changed my Linux distributive, now I have Linux Mandrake 8.0 which means that now I have full OpenGL in Linux. I also have an idea about porting Hexen2 to Linux, but I'm not promising anything. The next version of Vavoom will be released soon, most likely on first week of September. Stay tuned.

Add hexen II support to vavoom ?? (yea but newhexen is not bad at all) If you can make quake mode and doom mode switching in engine , all convert doom to more quake compatibile , then it can be cool..

I don't think that's remotely possible to have a Quake and Doom engine merged up. Funny how my detail texture code ended up in NewHexen <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P --> maybe I should create a h2 engine someday, but I really don't like the game.

Vavoom offers pretty much everything Hexen II could do, and that in the DOOM engine.

That was unfair , it was almost ok , only a bit weird mipmaps...
