How to use the wad based artwork only ?

I have a Simpsons mod wad for doom2 <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://lajulie.free.fr/pages/simpsons.htm">http://lajulie.free.fr/pages/simpsons.htm</a><!-- m --> You are homer and the monsters are all springfeild characters etc. But it doesnt work properly under vavoom as vavoom defaults to external artwork. How can I force vavoom to use the wad based artwork and sounds ? currently I am running it as - Vavoom -openal -nomouse -nocdaudio +SetResolution 800 600 16 -window -noendtxt -doom2 -file SIMPSONS.WAD

OK - got it ;D - ../Vavoom -openal -nomouse -nocdaudio +SetResolution 800 600 16 -window -noendtxt -file SIMPSONS.WAD -doom2 +r_models 0 Now I just have a slight monster scaling problem - need to scale the to about 3/4 Anyone got any ideas ?

I mean just scale thwe monsters - upon reflection I need to scale them to about half their heads go through the roof everything else is ok <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

When the author made the graphics, they were bigger than they should have been. Any Idea how I can extract the artwork so I can use fixmd2 to resize them and then to use vlumpy to pack a patch wad <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: -->

You can use XWE to extract the sprites, but to rezise them you'll need to use some other program, fixmd2 just scales 3d models AFAIK.

Thanx. I use linux though. - used deutex to extract and pack and ImageMagick to scale. I have a fixed working simpsons mod at 10M or a patch wad at 2M If anyone is interested. seems to work with doom2 and tnt. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->
