Sorry for the late answer. During the week (Monday - Friday) I have no time for computer...
Well, some other people from other forum are also interested. If you both are interested too, we are arround 6 or 7 participans. If this is the first tournament of a series, that amount is not bad.
Here is the tournament webpage link:

### For those not speaking spanish ###
1.- You cave to send a mail to torneoboom[a]gmail.com for sending your map and votations
2.- The limit dates are: 30 - April for Sign Up[/color:2y59vy71]; 31 - July for map sending[/color:2y59vy71] AND 31 - August for Votation[/color:2y59vy71].
3.- You can map for Vanilla Doom or Boom. Choice is yours. Remember that Boom or Doom does not allow crouch or jump.
4.- You can change or modify all you want, but not to modify the engine in any way. You can use Dehacked only for changing the screen texts (ammo pickup, etc...)
5.- You can change any lump if that does not change the game engine or feeling itself. Changeable Lumps are. PlayPal, Colormap, etc...
6.- You can add all new textures you want.
7.- You can change sprites, but only "static" sprites, such as "blood pool", "Pool of Brains", "impaled humam", "Blue Firestick", etc... That is, only decoration sprites. Not weapons, monsters or projectiles.
8.- You can add new sounds and MIDI music (only MIDI).
9.- Maps can be any size in sectors.
If you decide to participate, just tell me you want to, and I will add you to the list of participants.
When the map sending limit date is over, all maps will be published, so you can download and valorate.
The votations and winnners will be published the next friday after he voting phase is over (I think it's 4 September).
Anyone can vote. You dont have to be a participant in the contest.
You have to vote 3 different aspect for each map, giving a minimum of 1 point and a max. of 3 points for all mapsa nd for that aspect.
The aspects you have to vote are:
-> Originality[/color:2y59vy71]
-> Balanced Difficult[/color:2y59vy71]
-> General Construction[/color:2y59vy71]
For example, you have to give 1, 2 and 3 points to "Originality", divided into all the maps, so you can only vote 3 maps for Originality.
Same for Difficult and Construction categories.
There will be two kind of winners: the Category Winners and the Absolute Winner.
The Category Winner is the author with more points in a determined category.
The absolute winner is the author with the higher summ of points in all cathegory.
Well those are the rules.
Any doubt, just ask.
