I tried to get into it but it seems too dense in monster placement, meaning it's definitely cooperative material, I can't complete it alone. <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

Just to state the fact, I completed it back in the 1990s on skill 5 in single player. Yes that means reloading quite a couple of times, but basically all you need is to be a no-nonsense fighting machine with good resource management (every artifact, heck even every single health vial in the maps counts). Of course it's not a 100% kill completion, e.g. the 4 death wyverns in Brackenwood you best just try to dodge.

Hahaha, I played it with Kmod, and even though it would better just try to leave some pretty stiff situations (facing 3 or 4 Heresiarch's at once from a dead end place that left me in huge problems to hide), the wyverns, etc... But the damn experience point collection is so addictive, I just had to kill ALL major monsters, no matter how long it took - just to get to that next level...
