Anybody have glVIS or know of a place where it is hosted other than ravenfiles.com? They seem to be down at the moment and I need to fix my main IWADs. I'll be working on the Vavoom docs so I'll be online for a while, so email me if you can help.

Thanks in advance.

Gio

It should be up later tonight.

Thanks, Ramborc. Since it's already late night/early morning here in California, I should probably sleep. Then again, I've got a deadline to meet... *sigh*

OK, http://www.ravenfiles.com is up and running again.

Unfortunately, the link for glVIS is still down. I also cannot search for a file from the ravenfiles.com homepage. I tried sneaking up on the file a couple of ways, and so far I've had no luck.

Sorry 'bout this, Ramborc.

I searched the ravenfiles DB directly but there is no glvis in there at all - meaning there never was.

After some thinking, I think I figured out what you mean - it was a link like http://www.hostedsites.ravenfiles.com/~vavoom/FILENAME, right? In which case it's Janis who should be able to help you further, not I.

Yeah, that's exactly it. Sorry 'bout the trouble.

Yes, it's in the hostedsites.ravenfiles.com/~vavoom/ area which doesn't seam to work.

That fileserver was shut down a month ago, I thought you were on the hosted sites mailing list too where I sent the info about this in November. ???

I checked my mailbox and there's no such message from you.

oh... Maybe it was categorized as spam, I still remember a message I sent out to hosted sites I BCC-d to one of my private accounts outside of my server and it landed in the spambox of that provider.

Anyway, hostedsites.ravenfiles.com was on a server that was cancelled in December (maybe it wasn't obvious since a lot more was down in December, :-[ ).

Smaller or not much requested downloads you can put directly in your webspace ATM, for larger/popular ones you could either use SourceForge or I could give you FTP access to our FileFront account.

OK, I'll do that.
