Is the number of corpses which exist at the same time limited? Can I decrease this maximum number?

Hexen has a CorpseQueue variable that is used in-game, I really don't know if it limits the number of corpses or not, but you could give it a try <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->.

Hexen has a limit of 64 corpses. Other games don't have any limits.

By corpse, do you mean dead enemies? Or the sprites that are corpses? <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s:oops: --> And CW why would you want to DECREASE the amount of maximum corpses? A corpse is everything, the monster object represented by a sprite. We had to reduce the corpse queue in KA to the half to avoid flickering sprites everywhere, there are some maps that still present this problem with this measure.

Actyally I added new menu option to set number of corpses, which allows even more corpses amount than due default (8 - 128).

I dunno, has we got a map with at least 128 monsters? <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) --> I only tested player corpses limited to 8. First ones really start to dissapear when 9th and so on corpses are created.
