automap wall colours?

A minor gripe, but would it be possible to adjust some automap colours? As default in Vavoom the automap one sided wall colour is now set to: am_colour_wall "D0 B0 85". But in Hexen and Heretic it's just the same than the automap overall background colour. So the solid walls are practicly invisible in there. Also it could be nice if in Doom the colour for 2s lines with floor height differences would be more clear. (Well, it's a matter of taste.) Of course those colours can be changed from console, but it'd be nice if they were somewhat visible already.

The outlook of the automap depends greatly about the gamma factor, console variable "brightness". With some brightness values (0-4) the automap is very difficult to read. For example I took this screenshot serie with brighness from the darkest to the lightest.
