Very interesting ideas. Ettin speed is must have regardless of anything else, for modern players they are way too clumsy. Centaurs blocking only in front of them is something I always wanted to make.

Okay, so here's a not questionable idea: Randomly select clay pot (pitcher) contents on spawn. Hexen always has exactly the same item in each clay pitcher. If you know which is which, you can skip the ones with monsters. Contents
