Hi guys, I'm back. I'm still working on the documentation; I'm about halfway done. Now that I seem to have more free time, I hope to be finishing it soon.

It just so happens that I'm trying to make this doc as complete as possible, but to do that I need an ACS tutorial. Just a simple one really, as I presume I'll be adding to it when I finally get around to learning ACS myself.

Anyhow, any help will be appreciated.

Gio

Very simple example:

#include "common.acs"

script 1
{
print("Hello world!");
}

Whoa this is a revelation to me... I always discarded ACS as another coder stuff I wouldn't be able to learn w/o great hassle - but this example is just like PHP syntax which I'm familiar with. ;D I think I want to learn ACS (at least somewhat), after all. Where do I find a list of ACS commands?

Yes... a command list would be most appropriate! It would fit perfectly with vavref.txt! :)

Gio

You can find ACS documentation in The Official Hexen Technical Specs (hexspc09.txt). It's included in WadAuthor distribution.
