I want to modify my hexen.wad Vavoom will run. Will it have to rebuild the whole gwa file everytime I do so?

Only if you modify the level data, BTW, I wouldn't recommend you to modify your IWAD file (Hexen.wad), it's better to just copy those resource you will modify and change and copy them to a different wad (PWAD file), this will make it easier for you to find resources and easier to distribute your WAD, you can separate your levels from graphics too in a better way. Hope this helps you out .

Thank you very much. How do I specify which PWad's to include when running Vavoom? Is that what the "Files" field is for in the Vavoom launcher? Also, will Vavoom have to rebuild the gwa file if I modify the level data in the PWad? And, is "level data" just linedefs, sidedefs, sectors, vertices, etc., or are things included too?

Things are included in the definition of a level. However, if you only change things, nodes will not have to be rebuilt at all. - Gio

Just in case - you may also use command line like this: vavoom95.exe -game hexen -file mywad.wad

It looks like I'm no longer the newbie in modding here now.
