Currently Vavoom has a limitation of 2000 vertexes in model. It is needed for software renderer.

And yes, you can have models with truecolor skins. Vavoom has support for 8-bit PCX graphics and all format TGA graphics.

Can you tell us a little about your TC?

When my friends and me finish our TC.
It will be a total makeover from Doom--
every monster, every texture, every weapon, every sound, every item will be orig.

The game play, as much as it is possible, will be different from doom2/id style.

the only simularity between the tc & doom--
both will be FPS games.
