Hello, somebody already tried to install Vavoom on Ubuntu Dapper? I did, it installs without problems, but everytime I launch a wad, it goes to the doom menu and when I want to play, it returns to the desktop. On Breezy I had no problems, does somebody got the same problem or is it just with me? I don't think it is a Vavoom problem but a specific Dapper error or a specific 'my computer' problem (some corrupt packages). By the way, thanks a lot to the developpers to make a linux port !!

Can you run it with -debug option and atach here the ~/.vavoom/debug.txt file.

I tried to start with the debug option but it doesn't write one. I know why because I get this error message: couldn't open ~/.vavoom/doom2.gwa Then I tried to install in my home directory. I could play but the screen freezes the whole time and then I have to wait a bit until it crashes completely. I wanted to try also the debug option, but I get the same error message as above. Then I changed the file permission of /.vavoom, so all users could write to it. Didn't change anything. Maybe the problem is I updated from Breezy to Dapper. I will try a new install.
