Hello all. I have been playing around with Vavoom for a few days now and one of the biggest problems I have been having is my computer locking up when I try to access multi-player mode and Zone Alarm (a firewall program) pops-up and asks me if it's ok to allow Vavoom to access the internet. Can anyone fix this?

I don't have a firewall, so I don't know in that aspect, but currently Vavoom has quite a few networking issues (or did when I last posed about 'em anyway :P Posted even) and I have a feeling this may be related to those issues.

Of course, someone who knows what they're talking about can feel free to step in...

In this case the problem is with the fact, that Vavoom looses focus. When running Vavoom in fullscreen, switching away can cause the problems. The solution is to run Vavoom in windowed OpenGL mode by using -window option. Note that currently windowed mode is available only in OpenGL.

Thanks. The -window option did the trick.
