Hi,
I'm trying to compile vavoom on my Linux box (gcc 3.2, glibc 2.2.5) but I've got the following error:

make VCC=../../utils/bin/vcc OUTDIR=../../basev/doom1/progs -C progs/doom
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/Games/VaVoom/progs/doom'
../../utils/bin/vcc -I../common client/clprogs.vc ../../basev/doom1/progs/clprogs.dat
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:30 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:32 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:34 Syntax error in #ifdef/#ifndef
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:38 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:40 Syntax error in #include

cpp: client/clprogs.vc:42 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:44 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:46 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:48 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:50 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:52 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:54 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:56 Syntax error in #include
cpp: client/clprogs.vc:58 Syntax error in #include
make[1]: *** [../../basev/doom1/progs/clprogs.dat] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/Games/VaVoom/progs/doom'
make: *** [progs] Error 2

How can I fix this?
Hi again,
sorry for the silly question, I hadn't noticed the vavoom.txt doc in the docs dir (I was expecting a README or INSTALL file in the root dir) and so I hadn't run the fixunix.sh script.

So now I compiled and it runs *great*, thanks a lot for writing it!
I have another question now (hopefully more clever): is there any relation between jdoom and vavoom?
In particular, can 3D models be imported from one project to the other?
E.g., jhexen 3D models include the lowest level Hexen monsters (those who are found in the very first level of the game) while apparently in vavoom they are still 2D
Or did I do something wrong?

Yes, it's prety easy to import the models. Simply currently I can't do this myself.

Can't someone else do this for you (not me :-[)?

Yes, sure, anyone who wants can do this.

I was going to add the new modles to vavoom a couple of weeks ago, but disided not to. If/When I do it I'll let you know.
