[Not a bug] How do I play the demo wad?

I'm sure this is probably a dumb question but I've downloaded the vdemo_d2.zip to have a look at what Vavoom is capable of, and I can't figure out how to get Vavoom to know where the files are.

Any help?

Also can someone recommend a wad or mod that best demonstrates vavooms features/characteristics?

Vavoom works just like the original, and all other ports.

Make sure the demo .wad file is in the same folder as Vavoom, then run it like:

Vavoom95 -file <filename.wad> -doom2 -opengl

You could also try my Vavoom map, although it only really shows off the static lighting

http://slayer226.web1000.com/files/vslyr1.zip

Check the projects section at the Vavoom homepage for more Vavoom-only maps...

You can also use the Vavoom launcher, it lets you set all those options in a graphical interface.

Right sorry lads I should have been more specific: I know I can tell it where the wad is with the -file arguments, but what about the .acs files that are in that zip?
I figure there must be some way to pass a whole directory to Vavoom or something, or do I have to pass in all the files one by one with the -file arg?

The ACS files in any ZIP are only for you to comfortably read - they're always compiled into the wadfile so no need for showing them to Vavoom at all.

Actually these ACS and WadAuthor config files are for editing, the files with demo maps are a bit old, the editing package has newer ones.
