Using "..\AddOns\vv-dhtp-20071114.pk3" in the "Files" textbox in the Vavoom launcher, I'm trying to load Hi-Res textures. Once Vavoom has launched, I see that the file has been loaded in the console, but the textures aren't showing up in-game. All the appropriate options for Hi-Res textures are enabled.

AFAIK, those textures aren't finished, so it's possible that some of them don't show because they aren't even in the pack <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->, have you tried different maps?

You have to extract that file in Vavoom directory.
