I'm not sure if it is an ATI specific issue, but in OpenGL.. when you try to use the portal in the first level.. Vavoom crashes with a seg fault error message. It doesn't seem to occur in Direct3D.
I might update this post later and see what my NVidia hardware does.
Edit: I guess this is an ATI only issue.. there seems to be a problems with drawing the "Ethereal Travel" message...
