[Implemented] Skybox enhancement ideas

Skyboxes are real cool already in the current format, and they'd be even more so if you could include support for bitmaps up to 2048x2048 pixels for each of the 6 images. Also, could the images be animated? Is there a possibility for 2 layers like in Hexen?

You already can use larger pictures.

Will add support for animations.

Two layers - maybe, but not guaranted.

I'd prefer if the ZDoom style of skyboxes were implememnted. They allow much more freedom than the current VaVoom skyboxes and you can do anything you could do to a normal section of the level with the ZDoom skyboxes. Would it be hard to implement them or easy?

I also would like to have ZDoom style skyboxes, but there may be some problems.

Hmm... it practically means doing two render cycles instead of one, the first with camera in the skybox, the second is as usual... I've looked in Vavoom source, it doesn't seem like a hard thing to do. Maybe I'm missing something, what problems do you mean?

I mean possibility to have sprites and models in the skybox - there may be some problems with z-buffering.

If there is a possibility to make ZDoom skyboxes in next version, without sprites/models support, please do! I mean, objects aren't frequently used in skyboxes, most effects can be achieved by usual sector/linedef stuff...

How does ZDoom's skybox system differ from that of Unreal?

Fine, I will implement ZDoom style skyboxes in next version.

ZDoom skyboxes works in the same manner as in Unreal.

I guess I was too optimistic when I said that, but finally it's here.
