This also plagues 1.29. (otherways 1.29 is great, btw)
Here's a screenshot serie from Doom2's MAP02 door.
1) the door before it has been opened
2) the door after opened and closed one time
3) the door after opened and closed two times
4) the door after opened and closed three times
It's a fast turbo door. But with normal speed door types the texture isn't winded upwards as much at each time. It looks like with the normal speed doors if you stop and close the door before it hits the ceiling then it's textures aren't affected.
