[quote="Firebrand":8bum9zit]So you are saying that they have a normal monster flying behavior instead of what's implemented? Is this flying behavior limited somehow? I don't understand this question, because I am not sure I understand what is the "normal monster flying behavior"... Anyway, I tried to hack this behavior in the mod I was making and got much better results. I don't remember details already, I'll check it and post here what could be suitable for plain Strife in my opinion.

I mean if the inquisitor is able to fly up and down as a normal flying monster , I still think that there's some behavior that Vavoom isn't aware of yet, but I would like to have a clear idea of how it does work, to get it approximate enough.

I've got the source SvStrife 1.4 and got the behavior right from there, so this can be considered fixed .

There's something wrong with Inquisitor AI. I was comparing with original Strife game, and found that there those robots are much dangerous, because they are able to fly all the way to player correctly, when he stands on some high place above them. In Vavoom, however, they fail and usually stuck jumping on low heights. On the "Labaratory" level you can simply avoid 2 Inquisitors or even make them drop into the deep pit in the centre of the map, and they would not be able to get out.
