I'm not sure if this was supposed to be a feature suggestion or a bug. It doesn't appear to work.. I'm using the textures from the Heretic retexturing project (they are all in TGA format) and they don't appear to work.. I've put the textures in the appropriate folder (Vavoom directory/basev/heretic/textures/ -> flats to the flats dir and walls to the walls dir) I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong.. please let me know..

I don't know if it's the same for TGA's, but I was trying to use PNG images with 24-bits format, they don't seem to be supported, which means that any image you use needs to be 256 colors, not 16 million colors, (16-bits format), if you are using non-palleted images, that could be the problem.

Currently hi-res textures must be in PNG format. TGA and PNG can be in any colour depth. I have multiple 24 and 32 bit textures in my textures folder and they work just fine.

I kinda wished the people used PNG for the textures in the Heretic Retexturing project... unfortunately that is not the case.
