I seem to be crashing in Strife with memory errors. The last one mentioned a stack error.
Is there a command in the launcher to increase memory used by the program?
I have WinXP with an ATI 9600 pro and 512 meg. pc2700 memory. Asus A7V8X motherboard. ???

Minzon is in kilobytes and some megabytes (let's say 4) will be more than enough). With the latest beta savegames should work after changing it.

How about -maxzone ? What is the setting in? 128 meg. Do I use 128 or 128m for megabytes? Your documentation does not specify possible settings.
I am using -minzone 1024 and it hasn't crashed for a while.

I do have the problem of the conversations not working correctly. The NPC will always say the same thing over again after each time I respond. Using Openal (spelled wrong?) does correct it, but than I can walk through walls and elevators won't work. The character kind of turns into a ghost.

I also get where some NPC's in normal play start to act weird, doubling up and making strange noises. The shop keepers are the one's that do this.

Maxzone is in megabytes. Use 128 for megabytes.

Repeating vices and many line specials are fixed in latest beta versions (see Beta Testing thread).

-maxzone 128 does not work. I got a windows error that asked if it could send a report. I answered no and it put me into the game. It went into noclipping mode and then crashed back into the desktop. I did not set noclip.

-maxzone 64 does work.

64 should be enough anyway. There's really no need for more.
