[Closed] Error handling

Would it be possible to have in-game error messages and a continuing run of the game? I'm not talking about cases when the engine really crashes and nothing can go on any more, but things like e.g. the screenshot prob in 1.14 where if I wanted to make a screenshot the engine crashed to the desktop and I lost my current game. It'd have been a lot better to simply get an in-game message telling me the screenshot taking didn't work, but I could play on just as before. I'm not sure whether this is possible but if yes it'd make a great addition IMO.

Sure,  such errors can be simply reported to console.

Hey, I checked the code and taking screenshots doesn't abort if memory allocation fails. Maybe it was implemented after 1.14.

I meant it generally - the more errors let the game run on, the better. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> Like the default texture suggestion I made in another thread.

Yeah, I understand what you mean.
