My major multilevel vavoom project is almost complete. This new project will feature most of vavoom's capapabilities: Static lighting,3d floors, polydoors, and scripting.Only problem is,most of the maps are fairly large and complex, that when i'm about to look at a big open area, vavoom crashes and says an error message saying "No more free blocks" Well is this a vavoom bug or should i start cutting out parts of my maps?

It means that OpenGL or Direct3D driver ran out of free space for lightmap. I must fix this stuff by simply drawinf polygon without lightmap. You won't have this problem in software driver.

BTW why you don't use slopes (or you forgot to mention them)?

Yeah thats whats taking this project even longer to complete....getting the slopes working correcty.I'm using the "thing special slope" method and it seems to slope floors and ceilings in the wrong direction.I tried most of everthing to get it right, but it's not going too great right now.Maybe if i sent you the map via e-mail you can see what the problem is.[I'm using wathor editor to add these features in]

OK, send it to me. Even though right now I'm working in Linux and there's no good editor for Hexen format maps. Right now I started to work on a modification of the Why to add Hexen support so soon it won't be a problem.
