This bug also seems to strongly affect Frost Shards. It appears that a lot of missiles are hitting, but only some of them. The rest explodes prematurely.

IIRC, there's a CheckMissileSpawn method that will check if projectiles can be spawned correctly, maybe it's causing these problems with projectiles.
