In Doom2 keycards do not work at all. Instead, locked doors display a message "This doesn't seem to work" (which is completely out there), no matter if you have a proper key or do not have one.

Works fine for me. Are you sure that you have up to date basev/doom/basepak.pk3 with lockdefs.txt in it?
