1) Lighting. At first I have a proposal of creating static light substractor thing that substracts light instead of adding it. It may have colored variant too. This may be useful to create some extra lighting effects and also to make shadowed (or fully darkened) areas at exact places. Secondly - about dynamic light changes. I suppose that dynamically-changing lights were discussed in your community already, anyway, I just say that it would be great to have an ability at least to turn these static lights on/off thru map ACS. At second stage you may make these light things be affected by all action specials of "Light" group, such as Fade, RaiseByValue, Strobe, etc. And may be even change RGB settings for colored ones. Or even shift from addition to substraction mode. Heh... if I am not asking too much, ofcourse... <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: --> EDIT (18 jan 2006): I also suggest creating lighting textures, that spread light from wall/ceiling surface, if possible. I think that a new WAD lump may be created, alike TERRAIN or ANIMDEFS script, where you may put lighting definitions for such textures. 2) Advanced triggers. Since now Vavoom is in full 3d with all these 3dfloors, there is a great need, I suppose, for additional means of triggering. For example, if you need a trigger on a 3dfloor sometimes it is highly inconvenient to use line triggers, because they will activate whatever player's Z position is. Thinking on this problem I've got two ideas. First - is sector (floor) trigger. I am not completely sure how this may be implemented, but I suppose that it can be done anyway. For example, you can create a new linedef special that acts as SetContents, but it sets trigger definition for current sector instead. Second idea - is trigger thing, that detects player in defined radius and triggers some action then. It is more difficult to implement, I fear, but it will make the whole feature more flexible. Thus, it will make possible to place those triggers even in the air.
